His stature may be intimidating at first but he is a gentle sweetheart who just wants someone to love and if you give him a chance, he will not only melt your heart but his wiggles and facial expressions will keep you laughing. He is a perfect energy level for those looking for someone who can hang out and be mellow but then will still get spunky and eager to play whenever you want. •House Trained: Goes to the bathroom very quickly when you bring him out. I left him alone in a room for 20-60 minutes several times and he was quiet and well-behaved. He just lied down waiting and he didn’t get into anything.•Dog Friendly: Did a parallel walk with both my dogs and he was well behaved, had good body language while sniffing them and letting them sniff him. During our walk we went by several dogs and he was non-reactive except for one which was jumpy and barking in excitement so Wallace also barked once or twice in excitement but I was able to redirect him fairly easily •Affectionate: Loves belly rubs, was trying to greet everyone we walked by to get pets, gives kisses, •Knows some commands: Sit, stay (short periods) and comes when you call his name. He seems fairly easy to train as we were able to get him to lay down with treats on the first couple of tries•Well-mannered: Does not jump, gentle taking treats, patiently waited at my feet while I worked at my desk until I could give him attention and then even if it was just a couple quick pets he would wag in happiness and then return right back to relaxing once I stopped•Likes to play with toys but he doesn’t destroy them! Plays fetch•Generally easy to walk on leash: I use a front clip harness and with that he was easy to control and direct. When we first left the shelter his leash was attached to a collar and with that he was pulling more but I haven’t had any issues with the harness. Initially he is very excited to go for walks but he settles down quickly and doesn’t pull. Sometimes he zig zags if you give him a loose leash. He loves to mark outside (zero issues inside and I have 2 large male dogs at my house) but I think that would lessen after he is neutered•Easy to get in the car and was calm and content just sitting or sticking his head (and 1 paw) out the window•Gave him a bath and he was very relaxed w
