Adopt Jasper a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Border Collie / Australian

Jasper was found in the mountains of Tennessee. We made him a temporary home here for about a year. I have a very busy schedule and he's very intelligent and high energy. He would make a great farm dog. A fast learner. He is also a protector and once he gets to know you he will be your best friend. He really is the sweetest dog. He needs somewhere where he can express his energy and be able to use his intelligence. As far as we know he doesn't like cats. At first with other dogs he's not so nice but after he gets to know them he is. I've seen him play with kids 7 and up he does very well. I haven't seen him interact with any younger so I cannot say. He is a protector so when he first meets someone in the home he can be grumpy. An ideal home would be with someone who can take time to teach him tricks we would make a great herding dog.
