UPDATE!! This beautiful girl is Angel! She was saved from a rural overcrowded yesterday. Poor Angel is likely the product of double Merle breeding which has left her totally deaf and with some vision impairment! Angel navigates and gets around great. She does not let her disabilities slow her down one bit. She has settled into her foster home and is doing so well. Her foster was going to keep her but knows Angel would be much happier in a house of that has other animals or kids. She’s great in the house and has done wonderful with other dogs. She has a wonderful personality and will keep you laughing. She’s around 1 year old and 40lbs. Her chip (which was not registered and we were not able to reach any owners) has her listed as a Doberman mix and that she was from Canada. Deaf dog experience is a plus. She has so much potential and we would love to see this girl reach her true potential in her forever home. Angel is up to date, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. We do NOT adopt on a first come first serve basis, but to the home we fill is the best fit for that particular animal of there are multiple applicants. The adoption fee is $150 for all animals which includes all age appropriate shots, wormer, heart worm test if of age, rabies if of age, spay/neuter, monthly preventatives while in our care, and any other medical attention that may be needed.Shelter locationAll of our dogs are in foster homes, but we are very easy and flexible to set an appointment up with to meet one of our animals once the adoption application is approved. We also participate regularly at adoption events with other local rescues.
