Bones is a five-year-old, 55-pound mix surrendered by his owner, who was losing her home. He lived with a two-year-old lab, which the neighbor took, but with nowhere for Bones to go, we told the owner we would help. Poor Bones lost everything and has been shut down and depressed at the vet since he got there. He has been stuck there for almost three weeks due to vacation schedules and then getting sick. We hope to get him out this week if we can find a foster or adopter. He’s a very sweet boy who misses his home and family and takes it hard.
