Meet Ike, a resilient and lovable pup with a heartwarming backstory. Ike found his way to animal control as a stray, facing some rough times, but he’s come a long way since then. Ike is a smart boy who has learned important commands like Sit, Leave it, Come, and is both crate and house trained. He has an average energy level, making him a balanced companion. Ike may be picky with his food, but he loves pill pockets and enjoys chicken and Rawbble duck. Surprisingly, he’s not interested in toys, but he relishes being out in the yard and cherishes playtime with other small breed dogs in the family. One of his favorite things is cuddling with his human. When it comes to dogs, Ike is friendly and gets along well with them. However, he may not be the best fit for a home with kids, as it’s recommended to have a child-free environment. With people, he is friendly yet cautious, taking his time to build trust. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a friendly relationship with cats. On walks, he’s a superstar and enjoys exploring the world around him.
