Everest is a beautiful 2 year old Golden Retriever. She needs to find the right family that is gentle and kind as well as active. She is a bit insecure and will do best in an experienced adult family that can help her build some confidence. Everest was returned after getting into a fight with the resident dog. We still think she can go home with the right dog. She is typically a happy, energetic and playful young Golden however the shelter is a scary place. Everest is super affectionate when she gets to know you and wants all of your love. She will require a fenced yard. Because of Everest's popularity we are asking that you submit an adoption application and we will schedule meet and greets with approved applicants, thank you. Adoption processAll potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age. An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.Shelter locationOur orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning. On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
