Dog Name: Kashi - but we’ve been calling him Binx, as our dog is named Cash (Cashy) and it was pretty confusing for them! Age: Approx 1y 1m Good with dogs? yes! Good with kids? yes! Good with cats? Don’t know. Has experience on a leash? Doing well on the leash so far. He doesn’t pull much. He’s a bit clumsy (so cute) and zig zags but responds really well to direction. He gets excited when he sees birds but does not try to chase or pull. He is interested in other dogs on leash but does not chase or pull. Potty trained? No, working on it. Does great when we leave the slider to the backyard open. He will take himself outside and go. When it is shut he will sniff around for a spot and you can usually catch him before he goes and get him outside. He is showing signs of learning to go to the backdoor when he needs to go. He does not bark or whine at the door though. He quickly looks out back and then turns to sniff around. Crate trained? Working on it. Where does the dog stay when it is home alone? Crate. Where does the dog sleep? In our bedroom on a bed of blankets When does the dog eat? Morning and night, in his crate What does the dog eat? Rachel Ray food that NWW sent us via Amazon Temperament/Personality: Binx is a super sweet, curious, goofy, puppy! His demeanor is very chill but he also really LOVES to play with our dogs and toys. He is still very much a puppy and learning about living in a house. His curiosity means that he can’t really be left unsupervised as he will find things to “explore” with his mouth! Haha. He is not destructive though! He will drag something along with him and maybe start to softly mouth it but it’s very easy to take things from him or tell him no and have him stop! He does, however, love to rip up empty cardboard boxes, i.e. Amazon deliveries, lol. He just needs more practice and redirection to toys that are his :) He is going to be a great dog! What does the dog's ideal home look like? He loves to play with our dogs so he would do well with a pup friend. He could live in an apartment or house. He loves to sniff around outside so a fenced space or good daily walks would be great for him. If your foster were a celebrity, who would they be? Adam Sandler If your foster dog were on a dating site, what would their profile say? Beach or Mountains? He did well at the beach! Didn’t have a ton of interest in the water but that could change. Looking forward to taking him hiking in the mountains soon! Squeaky/Bouncy/Chewy, what do they look for in a toy? He loves cardboard (ha!) We haven’t mastered toys yet but he is learning about stuffies and Nyla bones. He likes to carry stuffies around and gnaw on them. Complete this sentence “My foster wishes they had a friend with whom they could share…..” Tearing up sticks outside, wrestling, giving me all their food.
