She’s mostly been a backyard dog, and loves taking the sun, and being a watch dog, and has always been very sweet, loving & gentle. ‘Special need’ for you to have a big heart and lots of love. As a rescue, we believe her 1st year, she had minimal development having most likely been kept in a kennel, so until she's comfortable, she can be extremely nervous if anything is out of her realm & storms especially. She’d be best in a quieter home, you own, with a fenced yard, and if someone was at home a good part of the day or retired. She needs to be comfortable with her surroundings, which may take some patience until she settles in. She gets along with children and dogs when they visit. We’d expect a few ‘getting to know her’ visits, To be sure the adopter is serious, a background check may be required, to ensure you're able to take on this commitment.
