Jumper is a handsome and large statured American Bully mix with an estimated birthdate of 07/27/2022. He came to the Mission on his own accord when he found Katie in a public park and hitched a ride home. His owner was located, but after a difficult discussion, his owner decided to surrender Jumper so he could focus on his own health needs. Jumper can be a bit cautious of new people, so a gentle introduction is wise. He has a positive history with dogs, cats, kids and also livestock. He knows basic commands and he is house trained. He walks on lead well but is still working on not pulling and tuning into his handler. He is reliable loose in the house without destructing things. Jumper would likely be a good candidate for any active and committed family who was able to keep him on the straight and marrow. He's 84lbs and extremely well muscled, so this is one time where an able bodied adopter is a necessity. Jumper seems comfortable with kids, but when excited he will likely go bowling for toddlers out of excitement, so make sure the kids are up for getting knocked around before applying. Jumper comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $200 and includes his medical records, a sample of the food he's been eating, leash, collar, and ID tag.
