Meet Freddie P, an adult mixed breed dog who arrived at our shelter on August 19, 2023. Freddie's journey to us was quite the ordeal, as he had been stuck in an apartment since May after his owner tragically passed away. During this challenging time, a kind tenant stepped in to provide him with food until local police eventually brought Freddie in as a stray. Freddie P is a shy and gentle soul, a bit underweight and understandably cautious given his recent experiences. What he truly needs now is a loving home where he can find comfort, regain his trust in people, and slowly open up to a brighter future. With the patience and care of a compassionate family, Freddie P is sure to bloom into the loyal and affectionate companion he was always meant to be. Your love and understanding can make a world of difference in Freddie's life. Per Volunteer 8/27: I had Freddy P out for the photo shoot today. He has a fantastic "sit. He's so cute and gentle. Did great with strangers and taking treats.
