Meet Lacey, an eight-year-old bloodhound who has been neglected for far too long. Sadly after her owner passed away, she was left outside to succumb to her environment. We took one look at her and our hearts broke. Once at the vet, it was confirmed that she was suffering greatly. Not only was she covered in fleas, but her ears were infected, her skin was raw and itchy, and she was also diagnosed with Heartworm and Ehrlichia. It's heartbreaking to think that this beautiful girl has spent her days living outside, in a pile of sand and pine shavings, while flies ate away at her skin and parasites deprived her of all her nutrition.Sweet Lacey deserves so much more than this. She deserves to live in a healthy body and a happy, warm home. Please consider helping us help her by donating to this fundraiser. Together, we can make the rest of her life her best days yet.
