This fluffy dude is Jocko, a 5 years old purebred Mini Australian Shepherd. He weighs about 25 pounds. Jocko knows quite a bit: sit, stay, down, play dead, shake, and touch. He is house trained and crate trained. Jocko has been good with people has met. He has twice given a nip when resource guarding his bed, and it was in a new to him environment, and we haven’t had any other instances of that. However, due to that, we won’t place him in a home with young kids. Jocko is good with other dogs, but can also be an only dog. He does like to play with dog pals. Jocko also loved to fetch and will jump in the air for the ball..maybe he could play frisbee? He will be a fun adventure pal for hikes and road trips. Jocko attended Petsmart basic obedience school and is acclimated to wearing dog goggles for hikes/outdoors. He also knows how to swim and loves the beach.With his people, Jocko loves to cuddle, and his soft fluffy fur makes him the best cuddle buddy. He loves to snuggle up with his owners and would sleep that way all day if he could. His different colored eyes make him stand out of the crowd. Jocko been rattlesnake trained and has a rattlesnake vaccination. He is also ESA certified.Jocko is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Redlands, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
