Jovie is a sweet, mellow girl who loves her snacks, naps and walks. She is the quietest dog I have ever met. You won't hardly get a bark out of her, maybe one single woof in a month. Jovie LOVES meeting new people. She is so happy to be greeted on our walks. She wants to chase kitties on our walks, but she is currently living with a cat and only whines when it is around. She even controls herself admirably when she gets swatted by the grumpy feline. Jovie also resides with a small dog and does very well with him. She lives with a persistent 4 year old and has learned to tolerate his harassment. Jovie has periodic seizures. The vet has a tentative diagnosis of epilepsy. They don't hurt her and only last a few minutes. She can go months without a seizure. She is not currently on any anti-seizure medication because they are so infrequent. There are a wide number of medications that can be prescribed if they happen more often. Because of the seizures, she can't be in a home with an unfenced pool.
