Coco is a four year old, 50 pound lab mix that was tied to a tree with no shelter, no water and little food. The neighbor had been watching this for some time, bringing food and water, and trying to figure out what to do. When the dog got tangled around the tree and started crying out so loud that she could hear him at her house, she knocked on the door and asked if she could have him. Luckily, the teenage owners who lived there said they didn’t want him anymore and happily surrendered him. Turns out he’s a very nice, calm dog and loves people and other dogs. He also seems to do well in his kennel and probably housetrained.
