BONDED PAIR Hi, our names are Freddy and Gucci. We are approximately 2 years old. Freddy (male) weighs 24 pounds, and Gucci (female) weighs 20 pounds. We were strays and wandered onto a nursery’s property in Homestead. The people fed us but we were really scared and ran when they tried to pet us. Since they couldn’t catch us, they set up a trap and finally caught us then brought us to Paws4you. The whole process was pretty terrifying! We are looking for a very patient adopter who will make us feel safe and give us plenty of time to adjust to being in a home. We are a bonded pair and hope to be adopted together. Please give us a chance. Adopt us! Note: Gucci is a little more independent than her brother and cautiously approaches for treats but then backs away. Freddy is more insecure and trembles in fear around strangers. He runs to his sister and seems comforted being right next to her. They are playful with each other when strangers are not in sight (see video). We request a donation with every adoption which includes sterilization, microchip & registration, current vaccinations and a heartworm/ehrlichia test. The adoption donation covers the boarding and medical expenses incurred on all rescues, not just one.Shelter locationOn the 1st and 3rd Saturday of Every Month, at our Retreat located on PAWS4you Retreat: 8717 SW 134th St, Miami, FL 33176 From Noon - 4pm. Every Saturday from 11am-3pm, volunteers are located at the PetSmart on US1 & SW 136 Street (in Miami across from The Falls). There are various other events that occur throughout the year that are listed on our website. Appointments can be made for during the week or evenings as well -- please email us for more information to make appointments.
