Lacey was born deaf! However, she has been a wonderful pup including easy house training and known hand signals. Some of the things to consider about her deafness: she has no auditory recall, her stimulation level needs to be monitored, she interacts well with other socialized dogs 1:1, but she gets scared sometimes and can be on guard. In general, she is a laid-back dog that does still have some puppy energy left. Lacey is a sweetie, and she needs just a little extra attention to training due to her deafness. She loved getting activity but also sometimes the owner needs to force her to take a break and rest. With unexpected life changes, I am finding it difficult to care for her with current treatment. I am hoping someone lucky owner will find her!
