Mr. Smarty Pants is a sweet boy, and he is slowly taking in his new surroundings. He warms up quickly to his new friends, and is very gentle and polite. He's such a gentleman on his leash, and knows "sit" and "stay." He's incredibly cute and has the sweetest smile. Don't be alarmed by his bald patches - Mr. Smarty Pants arrived with irritated skin, and now his skin and coat are recovering. We can't wait to see his beautiful, shiny coat grow all the way in.Mr. Smarty Pants is such a good boy that he went on a few dog's day out adventures with volunteers. This man-about- town has exploded Camden Yards, Ravens Stadium, and even hung out while his new friends enjoyed a pizza. He explored the Jones Falls Trail, visited Howl pet store to get some treats, and capped it all off with a yummy pup cup! In between he relaxed in his new friend's apartment, and was a polite visitor. He was a little nervous in the car, but was a good passenger. He was polite and friendly meeting new people, and didn't pull on his leash. He had a great day and is learning how to relax and play in new environments. Maybe you could show him the ropes?Mr. Smarty Pants has met other dogs at the shelter. He is a playful, social boy!Visit BARCS to meet Mr. Smarty Pants! He is residing in the back hallway (not in one of the main kennel rooms), so please ask to meet him - it's lonely back there!
