Mally is a three-year-old German shepherd mix. I adopted her from Oakland animal services several months ago. She is a sweet dog but has not been trained very much. She’s very smart! It took her only 6 tries to learn “gimme 5”. Initially with a new person she’s skittish but once she gets to know you and trust you she loves you. I let her take the lead and she came around. She talks, too! The only reason that I’m looking to rehome her is that I do not have the time to give her as much exercise and training as she needs and want to find her a home with an active family or person. It breaks my heart to place her because she is so sweet and lovable but I cannot give her the exercise time that she needs due to my age and my work.
