Hi, I'm Blanche! I've had quite the journey so far, arriving on January 23rd, 2024, after a run-in with a car that left me in severe pain. Luckily, kind souls rushed me straight to the vet, where I received immediate care, including X-rays that revealed my pelvis was broken or fractured in several places.Since then, I've been on the mend, undergoing treatment and healing at the veterinary office. It's been a long process, but I'm getting better every day. The vets say I should be ready to return to the shelter by early May, where I'll be eagerly awaiting my forever home.Despite my rough start, I'm a resilient pup with a lot of love to give. I'm already spayed, and while I do have heartworm, I'm undergoing treatment during my recovery, so I'll be in tip-top shape when it's time for me to find my new family.I'm a social butterfly, both with humans and my fellow furry friends. I have medium energy levels, so I'm up for a good walk but also enjoy some chill time with my favorite people.
