Hello, I'm Toothpick! I'm a beautiful mixed breed dog who's ready to find my new forever home. Some might say I'm a terrier mix, but who really knows. Staff have guessed that I'm about six and a half years old. Some people may say that that's middle aged for a dog... However, I would like you to know that age is just a number. I'm as much fun as any younger dog, I love to play, and I know how to have a good time! Plus, I promise to always keep the yard squirrel and rabbit free! Those things just need a good chase when I see them. If you'd prefer that I didn't chase them, I'm sure with a little bit of training and some consistent coaching, I could learn to accept them. My care takers have described me as being extremely smart and willing to please. I'm easy to train as I'm treat motivated so I would love to show you what I can do for a good snack. I have met a few dogs since being here, I enjoy the company of some dogs and don't care for others. We all have our preferences, right? I have gone on a few pack walks with my care takers and my favorite shelter dogs, I love pack walk days! I love all walk days! I bet you I'd love hiking days, maybe you could show me the trails around here? I can't wait to meet you! Ask my friends at the shelter if you'd like to say hi. I'm a very sweet girl! My adoption fee is $175, Benton County adopters have an additional licensing fee.
