Peppers is a beautiful compact pittie with the cutest face, big eyes, short legs, and a gorgeous grey and white colored, velvety soft coat with the cutest white tip on her tail! Peppers was one of 23 dogs rescued from a "home" with deplorable conditions. She lived in a heartbreaking and inhumane situation before being taken to CACC, and eventually to a foster home. Peppers is the total catch! She is good with kids and does well with other dogs after a proper introduction. Peppers is crate trained and also known to be a professional "fetch" player! Peppers is a pretty high energy pup! She would do very well in an active household. We are still unsure of if Peppers is a dog or not, as she will often make the most unique noises that lead us to believe should could be a pittie mix with perhaps a pig or gremlin. She is a vocal lady and it is the cutest thing! Sometimes it is almost like she is saying real words! So if you're looking for a dog to keep you company and have intelligent conversations with, Peppers is your girl! We check your references and process your application.3. Phone/email interview - we notify you that we have received your application and go over any areas of concern or speak to you more about the dog in which you are applying for.4. Set up a meet and greet - this can be at an adoption event, in your home or at the fosters home. 5. Pet meet and greet - we make sure your current pets and your potential new family member are a good match! If you are adopting a dog that is currently with either of our trainers, we will have you bring your dog(s) to our trainer for the meet and greet. **We will not adopt a dog into a situation we do not believe the dog can handle. The dogs are our #1 priority.6. Finalize the adoption - sign the adoption contract and pay adoption fee - we accept cash or check. Your adoption fee covers all vaccinations, fecal test, heartworm test, etc as well as spay/neuter and microchipping.
