8 Month Old Spayed Female Pit Bull for Adoption

We rescued a pair of pit bull puppies from the streets of East Palo Alto and they need a good home.
San Jose, CA
For the last month or so we have been fostering a pair of pitbull puppies we rescued from the streets in East Palo Alto. One has found a good home, but after reaching out to our circle of friends, and their circles, we haven't found a permanent home for the female. As adorable and wonderful as she is, we have 2 other dogs and a third is too much for us to handle. The female, we call her Rosie, has been spayed and has received her puppy shots, including rabies, and been vet checked at Reed Animal Hospital in Campbell, CA. She's small for a pitbull so we're thinking she's a mix.Rosie is great with other dogs and loves people. If anything she could use a little training with not jumping up on you. She has tons of energy, so a home with other playful dogs, or a big backyard with lots of room to run are a requirement. She's mostly house trained and uses our doggie door well. She's learned sit and is VERY food motivated. To ensure a safe future for her we require the following for her adoption:- Adopters must be okay with in-home visit with her. We want to see where she'd potentially be living, make sure the environment is safe, the home is properly prepared for a dog and that any existing pets get along with her.- Adopters must be okay with occasional follow-up calls, visits, or being Facebook friends to ensure the transition goes smoothly.- Adopters must agree to have her micro-chipped.- Adopters must agree that if they, for any reason, can no longer care for Rosie properly, then they will turn her back over to us before turning her over to a shelter or other person or organization. We ask for a $100 rehoming fee to help us cover the significant cost of fostering a dog.
