I currently have a male, red and white, Shiba Inu puppy, which I would like to find a suitable, loving home! This little guy has official Registration Papers through the A.C.A, or American Canine Association, with a birth date of 11/29/2012. He is a very affectionate, loving puppy with an outstanding temperament. We have three, of our own, full-grown dogs and he gets along with them exceptionally well and demonstrates the same temperament around children. Personality wise, he has definitely got some spunk when it’s time to play, but when, say, you’re just sitting down for the night, watching T.V., he is laid back, mellow and very affectionate. Shiba Inu's, in general, have a lot of stamina, but will adapt to the exercise needs of the family, or household they live in. My puppy possesses those exact personality traits. He just kind of, “goes with the flow” and adapts his energy level to the level of energy of everyone in the house and just the overall environmental energy of our house at any given time. A couple of other positive traits about this breed, that my puppy demonstrates as well, are that they bark very little and have minimal grooming needs. As far as grooming, like most dogs with soft coats, Shiba Inu's require an occasional brushing to remove any old hair and a bath and nail clipping as needed. This breed is very smart! It amazes me how fast they catch on to routines and how aware they are of everything that is going on in their environment(s). This little guy definitely inherited this trait! This is a huge plus for the future owner(s) of this puppy! This personality trait will help the new owner(s) tremendously and make it much easier, when it comes to the process of housebreaking and the processes involved in any other training the new owner(s) may choose for the puppy! Shiba Inu's usually, in terms of height, will be anywhere from, 14.25-15.5 inches and usually get to be around, 18-30 pounds, fully grown. My puppy as of now, relative to those numbers, most likely, will fall into the small, to average, height and weight range. This little guy is up to date on all shot’s, all de-worming’s and all necessary vaccinations. A proper record of all shot’s, vaccinations and de-worming’s administered, from birth to current, will be provided to the future owner(s), a long with his A.C.A registration paperwork.
