* NEEDS HOME * Ya'll help me find her a GREAT home!! PLEASE. This is Jazzy. Approx 2-3 years old. We've had her inside a couple of times and she did fine, no accidents. Outside, she sticks around the house and barks at whatever isn't supposed to be there. Not ideal for a home with small children because she's hyper and plays a little rough. She's free, but I have to be 100% sure that she'll be going to the best home I can find. Very sweet girl. And she's very appreciative of having a home and food. And she won't go a day without reminding you that she loves you. She's mostly black with white on her chest and feet. Her tail is curly, which is odd. We assume she is a lab, possibly pit, mix. But don't let that throw you off. She acts nothing like the sterotypical pits. It's just that she looks like it in the face a bit. Here's her story: She was found running around a busy road and was staying under an abandoned house. When we got her, she was pregnant, emaciated and COVERED in fleas and ticks..At first, she was very scared of my husband and my brother so we assume she had been abused by a man, which absolutely makes me sick. She gets really nervous around other large dogs, esp males. She'll snap at them but won't fight, but I wouldn't recommend a home with large male dogs. She's protective over her owner. She tried to scare away the DirectTV man and wouldn't let him out of the truck, but she wouldn't bite. I've considered keeping her and I will until I find the absolute best home for her. We just want to find that home before we move because we'd be moving to the city and I don't think she'd like it there. She likes her freedom and I wouldn't do that to her.
