I am just going to go ahead and say that I am going to be extra picky about a home for Blue, a dachshund mix and is a Blue Merle as well...... She is the best dog that I have ever had and the only reason why I am rehoming her is that my husband and I are allergic to her. I have 3 boys from the ages 1-10 and they all love her and she can't get enough of them! So I am looking for a home with kids. She also loves to be outside and to go on hikes,so I am looking for a family that has a backyard and is active on taking her on walks/hikes. I know I am being picky but she deserves a family that will play with her and love her like we do. She is a very, very active dog and is almost 2 years old. She is kennel trained and house trained, she will have a few accidents a month but that is only when we didn't pay attention to her clues about having to go. She has had all her shots but IS NOT fixed. She will come with her food bowls, whatever food we have left, kennel, blankets for her kennel, collar, and about 10-15 of her toys. She loves to chew on stuffed animals and wood objects.
