I need to find a good home for my 5 month old female German Shepherd asap (not spayed). I prefer someone who knows about or has previously owned a German Shepherd. I am not saying a new GSD owner is not welcome to take her, I am just saying please read up on GSD's before calling or emailing me. Lola is young enough to start a new life with a new family, but a new home for my girl will not be easy on her and I need someone who will understand this. She loves my 2 kids and 2 cats, and is very protective of us. But for personal reasons we can no longer keep her. German Shepherds are highly active dogs, and described in breed standards as self-assured. The breed is marked by a willingness to learn and an eagerness to have a purpose. They are curious which makes them excellent guard dogs and suitable for search missions. They can become over-protective of their family and territory, especially if not socialized correctly. They are not inclined to become immediate friends with strangers. German Shepherds are highly intelligent and obedient. If you are willing to give Lola love, compassion, patience and understanding then I believe you to be a good candidate for her new master. Please call 623-606-2449
