Had this little guy for about a month now. I took him in as some kids showed up at my door after finding him wondering around the parking lot. He is probably just over 3 months old. Took him to Companions Vaccination clinic in February. They said he may be too young for his rabies shot so he does not have that yet. He did get his distemper and he was treated with medicine for tapeworms, which has cleared up. They also treated him to prevent roundworms, hookworms, etc. He sits by the door when he needs to go outside, although he isn't vocal about it. He had one potty accident, the day he got here (probably nerves). He will growl and sometimes bark if a person is outside your home. We've been working on commands such as sit and down, which with patience he will do. He loves to sleep in your bed and will sleep at least 8 hours. He knows, words, potty, outside, sit, lay down and roll over (when he isn't being stubborn) Don't know his breed, but have been told he could be a cross between Italian greyhound/Dachshund. He comes with his few toys, puppy chow, puppy treats, vet receipt harness, collar. He is not getting along with my elder cat the way I had hoped he would. He is biting and chasing her. I don't recommend he live with cats. We took him to Petsmart and he seemed to do fine with male dogs, but was a little timid and shy around female dogs. He loves love and attention. He loves running up and down the hall playing fetch with a tennis ball- NOTE- he once escaped out the front door and I had to chase him down. This dog is quick and should NOT be off a leash unless you have a fenced in area. Looking to re-home him to a loving home that will ensure he will get his rabies shot in March and that he will be very taken care of. He is also NOT fixed yet, again the vet said he was just a little to young and his little men hadn't dropped yet. Call 501-five zero four- zero three six three
