Spectacular Male,1-Year-Old, All-White, full-blooded Great Pyrenees Guardian Dog (though 100 lbs, he's still a growing puppy).Kodiak is a friendly, gorgeous, one-year-old, all-white male, full-blooded, neutered Great Pyrenees dog. We have decided to sell him, as he needs to be out on a farm or acreage, for which he is much better suited, so as to being the HIGHLY energetic livestock and/or family guardian dog that he was born to be. Completely housebroken, "Kody" is about 100 lbs. His parents are both AKC registered Pyrenees - we chose not to register him because we neutered him. He has been raised around our family, out on wooded acreage. He is used to coming in every night (but would do well as an outside-only dog), and would do well, with appropriate outdoor shelter, as either a guardian of the property or of livestock, goats, etc. He has TONS of energy and it needs to be burned, DAILY - either alone by himself constantly running the property - or by taking him for long and vigorous walks. He is friendly, likes attention, and is great with other dogs, cats and animals - as long as he does not perceive them to be a threat to those he is guarding. He is not a dog for those with younger children, especially ones who want to constantly yank his tale or suddenly pounce on or tease him. He is fine with strangers, but they must be carefully introduced - preferably on a leash. He absolutely must be in a fenced yard. No person he is not well acquainted with can be allowed to walk into his territory unaccompanied by one of his owners - as all must be introduced, and then he will be fine. He still has a lot of puppy in him, and he is still growing.We will ONLY sell Kody to an owner with large-breed, alpha-dog experience, and who also has a large, fenced yard and proper shelter. We love Kodiak, but he is entirely too high-spirited to spend much of his day inside (which he currently does) - he needs to spend much more time outside, on a farm or a large property, as a guardian.$250 Re-Homing Fee
