Hello, I have a very nice and playful Pit Bull that I am looking for a forever home for. He is possibly mixed, most likely - but I've had a handful of people think he's mixed w/ Boston Terrier - I have no idea of that though. My husband & I are a small scale rescue. When we come across a dog or animal in need we just have to help. So the story on this guy is that my husband has an ex county "dog catcher truck" that he had an opportunity to buy for cheap, so people sometimes stop us and ask us to help them out. We were stopped by a couple of drug users that supposedly had moved and couldn't keep him due to their living situation and because who they were living w/ had a dog that kept bothering this guy, who by the way's name is "Kilo" - named by previous owners... We've had him for about a month and he is a VERY nice dog. We have other rescues that he is near and plays w/. So far we have not seen any aggression in him w/ other dogs big or small. He is not fixed. He is energetic and likes to play. When he is out of his kennel he just follows us around the property that we have him at. He is supposedly potty trained and slept w/ the previous owners on their bed. I cannot attest to that only because we live in a small house w/ our dogs and keep him and a couple others at a kennel we made at our 20 acre property in Shingle Springs. I do not know how he is around cats or kids. We had a friend bring her 14 year old son up to the property and he had no problem w/ him or strangers. Very nice dog. Weighs around 45 lbs, listens pretty well. Knows to sit & lay and I believe shake. We took him in because we know the pound is full of Pits & Pit mixes. So now I am trying to find him a forever home. We will be giving him a 7 way shot and I will keep the vial sticker for the new owners records. We live in Sacramento, but Kilo currently is in Shingle Springs. Asking a $40 rehoming fee.
