Adopt Admiral von Amorbach a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn German Shepherd
Los Angeles, CA
Admiral von Amorbach is a gorgeous 12 month-old German Shepherd. This pup loves human attention, and not only is he a manageable size and a great, medium energy level, he also walks wonderfully on leash. He’ll stick by your side like a good boy while he’s getting comfortable in his surroundings. Admiral meets dogs well – tho he can be a bit shy when encountering them. In his playgroups, he meets other dogs well and returns frequently to his beloved humans to check in and get some petting action (he did let us know that he prefers easy-going dogs like himself). If you’re looking for a good boy like Admiral, he would love to review your application! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Admiral von Amorbach YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org Application link: http://www.sheprescue.org/Application_to_Adopt_a_Dog%20Main.html Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
