Hi everyone! I am April.I am a happy and curious 6-month-old German Shepherd mix, my foster mom thinks I may have a little Malinois. My foster parents say that I am super smart because I am learning all things potty-training like a champ. When they all have to leave the house, I am really good about going into my crate. I want nothing more than to be by your side and love you. I love to play and get along great with my foster brother. He is a lot older than me, but he still plays with me, I also I play fetch and tug of war with my human siblings. I get along great with other dogs and love to play with all kinds of froends. I love to snuggle with whoever is on the couch, or bed, or anywhere I can. I am learning to follow commands and have already learned sit and down. I have learned to walk on a leash, thanks to the help of my foster sibling. I am spayed and up-to-date on all of my shots. I will need to have more training to keep my mind engaged, as I am what my foster dad calls a working dog. I like to be active, take long walks, and love to learn new things. My foster parents think I will make a GREAT companion/family dog for my forever family and think it would be best if my forever parents have experience with German Shepherd/Malinois so that I can become the best that I can be. I do get along with my human siblings (12, 18 and 21) and their friends. I haven't been around baby/little humans, cats or other animals, as of yet. I really like to chase the squirrels and birds in our yard and play with my toys.So, if you think we can become the bestest friends ever, please fill out an adoption application.
