Meet Ava! This big and beautiful poodle x Bernese Mountain Dog mix girl is 2-1/2 years old and weighs in around 58#. She is ready to get out and go on adventures! Ava is sweet, affectionate, active and SUPER smart. She would love to be a social and active partner (in crime?) to a family that can take her out and show her all of the good things in life! Ava is great with older kids and loves everyone she meets. She is probably happiest living as an only dog as she can be choosy about who she shares her space with. She does great when out and about meeting people and other pets, and loves to explore with her person. Ava will require a home free of small animals as she can be a little drivvy and will generally engage in a game of chase if given the opportunity. So no cats or other small pets. Ava is crate, house, and leash trained! She is best crated when she can't have her people with her as it makes her feel safe and secure, and keeps her curious mind out of trouble. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
