We are looking to rehome our sweet, extremely energetic, loving, healthy (60ish lbs, fixed, up to date on everything) one and a half year old female golden retriever. She has been with us for almost a year and would do better in a home without a toddler and space where she could run and explore. While she has never intentionally hurt anyone, her bursts of energy and tail wags have resulted in knocking over our youngest so often that our toddler is scared of and unable to play freely in the same space. She has gone after stray cats around our home so might not do well in a home with a cat. She will be a wonderful dog for the right person- extremely loving, personable, potty trained (we have a dog door), walks on a leash well. She, like most dogs this age, mouths everything and will chew anything is sight when shes not been active enough. She is located in Byron Center.
