Adopt Bailey Beauty *LOCAL* MEET ME! a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn Shepherd
*** COME MEET ME! *** Age: 2 yrs (as of 07/18/2019) Weight: 50lbs (as of 06/20/2019) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heart worm preventative and is micro chipped. Meet Bailey Beauty! Yes, Bailey is quite the beauty! We are thinking she is a Shepherd mixture. She's a playful, eager- to- please, even tempered, intelligent, and affectionate girl. Looking for a walking or running partner? If so, Bailey is the dog for you! On a leash she does pull a little at 1st but then quickly settles in and matches your pace. She is house broken, and does nice in a car, either tethered or in a crate. She has lived with multiple young children and done well with them. True to her shepherd mixture, she will likely always need regular exercise, as well as some confident leadership in her new home. She would love to play fetch with you and is also happy to chill with 1 of her favorite toys. She has quite a bit of puppy energy and is still learning house and doggie manners, so her new home should be prepared to work with her some. In 2 of her foster homes, she did fine being left alone in the house with other dogs, but after her transport north, she has shown signs of separation anxiety when left home alone without another dog. This may wane over time as she settles into all the recent changes, or another dog in the home will help, but 1 thing hasn't changed: you must be prepared for many kisses from her when you get home! Bailey is an active and happy girl who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make her dream come true? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family! Bailey’s story: Her former owner was not home enough and surrendered Bailey to a shelter.
