BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso, who is 6-7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit's only flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a nip out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and eager to be welcomed into his new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be.
