They are bonded to each other and must be adopted together.**** If you're searching for very devoted and loving best friends, Bella & Baxter are the pair you want to have around! Bella, the female, is 2 years old and 6 lbs. She is the one who looks more of a white color. Baxter is a male, and he is 5 years old and also 6 lbs. He is the more yellow colored one. Bella and Baxter had a home their whole lives, but unfortunately their owner passed away and they found themselves in need of a new loving home. They are potty trained, and signal when they need to go out, according to their foster mom. Bella has been with Baxter for her whole life, and cries when they are separated. A home where they get to stay together is mandatory! Their love for each other does not stop them from being extremely affectionate with people as well!More often than not, 2 is easier than 1! Bella and Baxter, as a non-shedding dogs (perfect for those with allergy concerns) will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming and excellent nutrition (5 star food and a daily salmon oil supplement are great choices for hair care and longevity) to keep their coats cottony-soft, matte-free and shining with good health. Bella and Baxter are both young, healthy, and happy dogs who are excited about life. They are active pups, who will have so much fun exploring the Colorado trails. Bella and Baxter, (once comfortable in their new environment) are affectionate and very loving. We would love to see Bella & Baxter in a home with a individual, couple, or active retirees who have the time and heart for a loyal and loving companion. We'd hate to see Bella and Baxter left alone all day while their family works full-time outside of the home. We think they're too social for that arrangement. A family that works from a home-based office is a great choice for these sweet dogs. Farfel's Rescue would like to see Bella & Baxter in a home where they'll get consistent mental stimulation, exercise and tons of loving hugs. A positive reinforcement / force free training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for these young dogs, whose self-esteems will fly high while they master their skills. Farfel's feels so strongly about a training opportunity for all dogs that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person positive reinforcement/force free trainers in your area. Baxter and Bella are both up to date on their vetting and vaccines. Baxter is neutered, however Bella is not yet spayed. Spay is required to finalize any adoption, and must be done within one month of pick up. Farfel's Rescue covers the full cost of her spay. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year.
