Pomeranian alert!! Benji is an adorable PomPom who's owner passed away leaving him in need of a new home. He is currently in a foster home where he is enjoying lounging on the couch, basking in the sun and hanging out with a few other small dogs. Benji is mostly quiet but will occasionally bark if he sees another dog on the street. He gets along fine with the Chihuahua and Poodle in residence and respects their boundaries. Benji walks nicely on leash and rides well in a car. He has alternated with sleeping on the couch to sleeping on the bed. He also did not seem to mind the few times he needed to be crated. Benji was severely matted when he first arrived at rescue, so had to be shaved down. The fur on his head and tail are very luxurious, so we think he will be stunning once his hair grows back. Hey, it's hot outside, so good time to have that puppy cut! Benji has had a couple of accidents in his foster home, but now that he is getting used to the schedule, he is greatly improving.
