Meet Bexley! Bexley is a 1 year old, 20 lb Mini Australian Shepherd who is curious about her surroundings, shy when she meets new people but then gets comfortable and likes to be pet by her loving family. Her superpowers include being a fast learner, learning to walk on a leash, progressing on her potty training skills and using the pee pads indoors. Bexley uses pee pads because she is nervous going outside, but we are optimistic that with time and patience, she will figure it out! Once she gets to the park she enjoys rolling on the grass! She gets along with other dogs. She loves to please and she loves to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are taking walks, rolling on the grass, cheese chew, and bacon treats. If you're looking for the companion to take walks, enjoy nature and give her the patience and love she deserves to build on her best version, Bexley would be the best dog! Bexley is currently being fostered in Edison, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600. Bexley is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
