Blooper recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what his DDO buddy had to say! "We had the best time with Blooper today! He is so much calmer outside of the shelter. What we learned: - Walks well on leash! Minor pulling to start, but he eased in to a nice loose leash walk - Loves people! He enjoyed saying hi to everyone, including the small humans. - Medium to low energy. While he mostly enjoyed his walk, he probably would have been happier inside - Seems pet friendly! While he didn't actually meet any friends, he had nice loose body posture when we came across other dogs. He also didn't have much interest in the cats at the pet store. - Ok in car. While he rode quite well, he didn't seem to enjoy it. Poor kid hid his face in the corner - Takes treats gently. He does occasionally leave a little slobber behind as thanks" As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
