Meet Bluey, The runt of his litter but the first to say “Hi” to his people. Him and his litter were dumped at an animal shelter that was quickly becoming overcrowded. We welcomed them into the rescue fullof worms and covered in ticks. Poor things were terrier of human contact. It’s only been a few days since we welcomed them, and they are so sweet and gentle. Bluey is submissive and will roll in his back to welcome you for tummy rubs. He also likes to sleep on his back which is super duper cute! He loves treats, toys, and blankets. Please do your research on this breed. They are commonly dumped at the shelter because the owner did not do their research before adopting. They are herders. They NEED a job. They WILL nip. This is a common characteristic of the breed. They are smart, energetic, and will make a very loyal companion to those who are familiar with the breed. We will not adopt to just anyone who thinks they are cute. We want to make sure we secure a forever and safe place for them.
