We think Bolt was taken out of the county shelter in 2018 and adopted out to a family by another rescue. Only 6 years old there was an accident where a hand was bitten twice over the last 4 years and now Bolt has it on his record. Bolt was adopted but returned and we are looking for a home with no children. We were told the bites occurred due to toy or food but our trainer has not found that to be true. He has taken both right out of his mouth with no issues. We are looking for a family that knows these breeds and will understand him. He is already a favorite of our volunteers and his old adoptive family has asked us please to find the right home for Bolt. 49 lbs and 8 years, please contact us if you would like to meet Bolt. He is extremely food protective so we need an adult family that understands about this behavior.
