Meet handsome Byron! He ended up as a lost boy at the shelter on 5/19, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Byron as friendly and likable. He is quiet and calm in his kennel and passes the time by sleeping on his Kuranda bed. Byron will need someone capable, patient, and kind to work with him on his leash-walking skills. He is quite strong, and since he is such a large boy he'll need someone who is comfortable handling and has experience with XL dogs. Byron is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 103 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Byron in run 882; his ID # is 657802. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-XXXX. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an apt., it does not reserve a particular pet for you.
