Meet Cali Sushi Roll! Cali is a petite, gentle, loving and sociable pup who’s just as friendly as she is playful. Shethrives on physical affection, lounging around cuddling on the couch, gentle play with dogs, and treat sharing! Her love of people and gentle demeanor makes her the perfect companion for almost every household! She loves children, dogs of all sizes, and cats. Cali is extremely patient and tolerant, always approaching people and animals with kindness and a wagging tail. She will also sit and let you dress her up, she is a total fashionista! Very few dogs will let you put on sunglasses and keep them on lol During her assessment she met a large variety of dogs. We were very comfortable with her and quickly did off leash introductions into the play yard! All of the dogs felt very comfortable around her. From small dogs, to dominant, to submissive, and very rowdy! She did great! Cali has a much more gentle play style and is definitely a follower. She displayed great social dog cues and all the dogs played so comfortably with her. Cali was the most patient with the toddler! She did not jump on him, she took treats so gently and let the toddler put lots of fun costumes on her! The both of them cuddle on the couch relaxing, watching YouTube. The calm energy she exudes will melt your heart! Cali walks soooo gentle on the leash. Even when meeting dogs! We are so impressed with this girl! We feel that Cali would be a fantastic addition to almost any family. If you have children and like to go to the park and walk, she would love that! Tom is a very dog savvy cat and holds himself very confident. Cali greeted Tom and then they hung around the living room, both kept coming up to beg for treats. She has not lived in a home with cats that we are aware of, but she commingled beautifully with the house cat during her assessment. Proper dog and cat introductions will be needed if you have a cat and are interested in bringing this sweet baby home. Our favorite thing about Cali is her love of everyone, humans and dogs! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
