Age: 8 weeksSize: 6 lbsEstimated breed: Corgi/Carolina Dog mixCanela and her siblings were found living on the streets of Texas, where homeless dogs are too many to count and shelters are already dangerously overcapacity. It's clear these puppies were born and raised as strays, as they were so shy and timid with people. Their luck turned around when good samaritans picked them up and kept them safe until we could fly them up to PA to begin looking for their forever homes! Canela is around 8 weeks old and weighs 6 lbs. We are guessing she is a corgi/carolina dog mix, but since we don't know who her parents are we can't say for sure. Canela is a shy girl who is learning people aren't so scary. She's much braver than her brother Canelo and is helping show him the ropes in their foster home. She adores other dogs and will need to go to a home with at least one friendly resident pup! She loves to run and play with her doggie foster siblings in the yard and is discovering how fun toys can be. With time, patience, training, and plenty of love, Canela will blossom into a confident young girl!
