From Chubbs's previous guardian: Chubbs is a big lover. He is playful and goofy and listens well. He loves to sleep with you, like a big bear! Volunteers say "Chubbs was such a sweet boy. He barely pulled on the leash and would look back to me numerous times on the walk. He took treats very gently and knows his name and sits very well. He was also respectful and listened well when I told him to get back when he realized I had the treat bag in my hand. He was a little unsure of the two guys we passed on the walk but he did not pull hard or have any major reactions to them as they passed us (just a slight growl at one and jumped to the side of the trail at the second guy that passed us). He does need some reassurance when there's a loud noise but quickly gets over it and walks along with me again. Chubbs loved to get love and clearly appreciated the human attention."
