How this pet arrived: Claude was brought in by his previous owner. At SDHS: Claude has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Why this pet is the one for you: Since arriving at the Escondido Campus on February 6th, 2024, Claude has undergone a remarkable transformation. Initially displaying fearfulness through loud barking, Claude has since evolved into a gentle giant, thanks to the dedicated care he has received. Staff members have grown fond of Claude as he walks gracefully on his leash, relishing moments to explore and sniff around on his walks. Over time, Claude has learned to greet new people with a wagging tail, indicating his growing confidence and trust. Ideal for a home with a spacious yard for him to roam freely, Claude seeks a comfortable place to rest his head each night. In his previous home, Claude had difficulty sharing treats, food and toys. Claude is bouncy, happy, and BIG and he's looking for a new home where he can be his very best self.
