Hi there! My name is Closette and you are looking at a two-year-old retriever mix that is so glad to be sitting at the shelter with my big bowl of food and my nice comfy bed! I tell you, life on the "run can be pretty scary! I was dodging people and cars hoping to find some help! Finally a homeowner called Animal Control to pick me up. I have been safely resting at the shelter and waiting to go up for adoption. The time has finally arrived and I am ready to meet some new people! I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I am now worried! I know the shelter will be with me all the way through my treatment. Say, why don't you foster me through my treatment and then adopt me!! Great Idea!!
