Cookie is a sweet little cockapoo who is newly retired from commercial breeding. She has spent her life having puppies but is now happily learning how to be loved. Cookie has picked up on potty training quickly and does well as long as she’s kept on a schedule. She doesn’t like her kennel very well so she doesn’t use it much at her foster family’s home. She does not get into anything she isn’t supposed to when she’s left alone. She rides well in the car and is learning how to walk on a leash. She’s fairly low energy and prefers naps and snuggle with her human versus exercising. She seems to gravitate toward females and is leery of males. There are no cats or children at her foster’s home but there are two resident dogs she gets along with. Cookie would do well in a home with someone who is home most of the time and would do well as any only dog or other dogs who don’t mind her doing her own thing. Cookie loves snuggles and is eager to finally find her forever home. She will make someone a wonderful companion. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
