Cookies applicants need to have another sweet and smaller sized dog in home as she needs the playful encouragement of another dog, but is wary of dogs much bigger than she is A mini-mentor of sorts. Cookies is a very sweet girl, but on the meek side at the moment, recovering from some trauma in her prior home. But, she is a lovely dog, great size, walks nicely on leash and is dog friendly! Cookies is in need of love and understanding, patience and nurturing - she is a doll!! As she comes out of her shell she will be more playful and active.... bit by bit. As of now she is afraid of a lot of commotion so at this time we think best for her to be in a home without young kids running around. She definitely needs a home with a sweet and playful small to 40 lb sized dog to help guide her so not considering applications that don't meet this criteria. She is a perfect 30 lbs and is so deserving of a great home and family - maybe not too much of a crazy teenager scene, more a predictable adult lifestyle and engaging in a sensitive, active lifestyle.
