Adopt Deacon aka Big Boy JuM a Black - with White Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull
Meet Deacon aka Big Boy JuM Name: At 1st everyone was calling me Big Boy, but Deacon is my new name! I wear bow wow ties now, so the name fits. Best Feature: My tongue out Tuesday photos are off the hook! And my smile is contagious, but my spots are not, that comes from likely being part Heeler, I have black speckles on my white patches. I am likely a conglomeration of Labrador/Pit bull/Cattle Dog. Skills: I know how to high five with either my left or right paw, an ambedextrious high 5-er. I have bunch of experience walking on a leash, a champ if you will. I know basic commands: sit, down, high 5 with alternate paws, speak, go in create, fetch. I have also mastered ringing a bell on door knob to go out. I will sit before eating, going in & out doors or putting leash on. Likes: I like meeting new people and get a little too excited sometimes if you know what I mean (aka my red rocket has been known to make more than a few appearances). I love to hike in the hill country, feel the brown dirt between my toes, the smells in my nose….awee heaven out there. Pats on the head. Nice boy words of encouragement. Best Trick: Flipping a stuffy toy or antler or other chewy toy over my head for amusement. And making and ice cube turn into water! Thankful For: A big black boy dog getting a 2nd shot at life. I also give a shout out to all of you reading this bio today for considering a rescue dog. And finally I am most grateful for the inventor of bacon. Basics: I am nice with kids, other dogs and I am two years old and 60 pounds and the self pawclaimed Mayor of Hunk Muffin City. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter.
